This week me and my group’s activity was to make a DLO of our care values compared with the treaty of waitangi, our school care values stand for confidence, attitude, respect, and excellence, for example: being confident is like being brave and risking things, and comparing to the treaty of waitangi way the maori chiefs, they were brave enough to sign the treaty even though some maori people disagreed.

I enjoyed this activity because I love learning about other cultures.

Today I read a book named wonder, (the book is about a boy named auggie which he did not like going to school but he got used to it and made some friends named Jack will, Charlotte, and Julian).

First I read the book and made a copy of a Google slides that my teacher sent me.

Next I had some symbols and texts to match them of the characters from the book I read.

Lastly I had to use the symbols to type the character’s traits and physical traits, which of what they look like and what type of personality do they own, then I started my blog post.

I enjoyed reading the book. I did well matching the symbols and the texts. I need to improve on my reading.

Today I learned/did a reading log, (a reading log is a document of when you add information of a book and a recount together).

First I filled a form about a book called wonder.

Next I made a copy of a reading log and filled it up with information of the book.

Lastly I finished, did a SSR Selfie of the book, and started my blog post.

Today I learned about water.

First I made a copy of the google slides.

Next I added some information of how water is life.

Lastly I finished and started my blog post, (did you know that water could be the key to finding life).

Today me and my partner learned about being detectives.  Our focus was on making inferences.  We had to make inferences in order to crack the case.  We had to find the culprit, location and the missing object by reading the story and making inferences.  We had to present what our findings were and include the evidence and the reason we made those accusations.

First we looked around the story called the Mystery at Wharepuni Estate.

Next we looked around a crime, there 4 suspects, and we found out that it was suspect 1.

Lastly we present to the whole group, we finished and started our blog post

Today I did a SSR Selfie.

First I had to read a book and use a 15 minute timer.

Next I went on a SSR Selfie google slides and added some information about what book I read in 15 minutes.

Lastly I finished and started my blog post.

I enjoyed my learning. I did well on reading. I need to improve on my reading.

Today I learned about Current Events, (Current Events means of what is happened right now, for example: the 2023 super rugby season).

First I had to make a copy of a Current Event Google Document.

Next I answered the What, Why, When, and How questions but what happened yesterday of the 2023 super rugby season.

Lastly I finished and started my blog post.

I enjoyed on my learning. I did well on my current events task. I need to improve on my learning.

Today I learned about what happenend with the British people and the Maori people.

First I read the story about the treaty of waitangi.

Next I had to make a copy of my reading slides.

Lastly I finishing on my task.

Today I read a book about a dog and superman, for my SSR Selfie.

First I setup my 15 minute timer to read my library book.

Next when I was done with my 15 timer and my reading learning I created my slide to put the information of the book I have read.

Then I put all the information into my slide including putting the name of the illustrator and the author.

After that I needed to take a picture of myself with the book just for the readers to know what the book looks like.

Lastly showed my SSR Selfie to my teacher to blog my SSR Selfie.
