Healthy Eating

LI: to understand why vegetables, protein and meat that contain proteins are good for you.

This week me and my partner Kale made a DLO and blogged about why we need to eat more vegetables, it is healthy and good for you to keep your body healthy, strong and skinny and if you want to stay alive longer. You need to eat 5 servings of vegetables and 64 proteins per day to keep your body healthy and strong.

I enjoyed this activity because I learnt that I can make a new healthy routine for me.

AUT Milennium Water Safety

LI: How to survive in a swimming situation.

This week me and my partner Kale made a animation that is about water safety and how to survive in a swimming situation, during our AUT Milennium trip that was on tuesday, we learnt how to survive during a swimming situation, which we learnt about making a swimming chain with our group to swim around to get to surface, and we learnt about the huddle Position where we huddled up with 1 person in the middle, which me and my partner came up with a plan of making a animation of what we learnt.

I enjoyed this activity because I learnt how to survive while swimming.

Howick Historical Village

LI: to make a collage about the “Howick Historical Village”.

This week me and the LS block went on a trip to the “Howick Historical Village”, LS2 and LS1 got split up into 3 mixed groups for each group to explore the “Howick Historical Village”, my favourite part of the “Howick Historical Village” was to learn about what was going on back in the 80’s, our first activity was that we walked around in the middle of the “Howick Historical Village” woods, which we found a old house, then our second activity was to built a vehicle that was used for fun back in the 80’s and to probably get around in the country, which was to build a trolley, and after that our last activity was that we learnt about the life of the 80’s when the womens job was t0 milk cows and feed their pigs milk while the mens job was to gather water and wood for their family.

I enjoyed this “Howick Historical Village” trip because I love exploring the past.
